Goodwin Learning Academy's middle school program pairs each student with a qualified teaching professional for 1:1 instruction in English language arts, mathematics, science, and history, with executive-function skills woven through the day. The focus is independence: time management, study skills, emotional regulation, and resilience, at the student's own pace, aligned with Arizona State Standards.

Goodwin Learning Academy's grades 6–8 program pairs subject-specific instruction in English language arts, Pre-Algebra mathematics, science investigations, history and civics, with deliberate practice in the executive-function skills that make independence possible: time management, study skills, goal setting, and self-advocacy.
